I bought my first defender from Paul and I love it! It's in great condition and Paul did some cosmetic work before I bought it to get it looking even nicer than it did. It was really good of him to do this and completely unexpected, but he did it because he takes pride in what he sells.
Paul is not a traditional salesman, he wasn't pushy and in fact talked me through all the negative points of the vehicle, meaning I bought it because of my own choice and not through pressure or a sales pitch.
Being female I'm used to car salesmen not talking to me, but talking to my partner instead or talking down to me. This always puts me off. Paul did none of this. He spoke directly to me, was patient and explained the way around the vehicle, as well as expectations and my requirements of it. He made sure I was 100% happy with my choice. Aside from this, Paul was really easy going and friendly, putting my mind at rest that any issues I could come directly back to him.
Paul has brilliant knowledge of defenders (as well as other vehicles) so I couldn't think of anyone better to go to. I would definitely recommend buying from Paul.

I purchased a beautiful 2007 Defender from Paul which had been lovingly restored to almost mint condition.
There was an initial, minor, problem, during the warranty period, that was dealt with as rapidly as I could have been wished for, without any quibbling. Having now owned the vehicle for several months and driven a few thousand miles, I have experienced, post-warranty, the odd problem (which I expected as part of owning a Defender).
